The March meeting was held on Thursday the 13th at Meg's house. In attendance were Meg, Marcia, Susan, Debbie, Sheila, Mozelle, Donna, and guests Mary Ellen, Tony, and baby Ruby.
All dues have been paid for this year. Marcia shared a flyer for the Spring Fling Shop Hop to be held March 27, 28, and 29. She also showed the premiere issue of Block magazine from the Missouri Star Quilt Co. Sheila showed a Hawaiian quilting book she brought home from her recent trip.
Show and Tell:
Sheila showed her pretty red, white, and black quilt top.
Debbie made several of these aprons for ladies at her church. Love the ruffle!
Donna showed the afghan that Mary Ellen made for Ruby. Great crocheted hearts!
Susan showed the center medallion she embroidered for a new quilt. Gorgeous as always!
Susan also showed off her beautiful embroidery quilt--detail below.
Marcia showed her Periwinkle quilt,
while Meg showed a similar quilt made by their mother many years ago (not pictured.)

Program:
Susan presented instructions on how to make these darling bath mitts, which hold slivers of soap in a pocket closed with Velcro. So simple, but with embroidery or applique they make a cute gift. She provided the washcloths and pieces of Velcro, and we took them home to finish. Thanks, Susan!
