The February meeting was held at Meg's house on Feb. 13. In attendance were Meg, Marcia, Sylvia, and Debbie. Meg provided a cheese and meat tray with crackers, pickles, and cookies.
All members are reminded that your yearly dues of $10 are due pronto! Give Meg your money at your earliest opportunity.
Show and Tell:
Debbie showed this ruler pocket, which could be worn as an apron or hung up to hold all kinds of supplies.
She also showed off this lovely panel quilt with a School Days theme.
Meg showed three different versions of the same pattern. The center of the block can be one piece or several, and the outer pieces can be the same color or varied. All beautiful!
Marcia showed the finished quilt she made from the "Mother's BOM" blocks she has been passing out over the past few months. If you made these blocks, we would love to see the quilt as you made it.

The program for the evening was making things from men's ties. Meg had a large number of ties cut into usable lengths that she passed out for everyone to use. She showed a table centerpiece, below. (Excuse the poor photo.)
Marcia brought the clock she made from ties, as well.

From Marcia:
I want to express my heartfelt thanks for all the caring thoughts and prayers during John's illness and after his death. Having my quilting friends around has kept me going. Thank you all so much.
